"You're going to face a choice in November. This is a choice between the policies that
got us into this mess in the first place and the policies that got us out of this mess –
and what the other side is counting on is people not having a good memory."

The U.S. Elections of 2011 & 2012
This page is begun in June 2011, which is much too early, but the national election cycle has been taken over by the media (owned, of course, by the very Oligarchs who seek to destroy the democratic process) and the longer the election cycle runs, the more profit the Oligarchs make.
While the People did get Barack Obama elected as head of the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch is still a problem. (The U.S. Supreme Court is a 5-man cabal owned by the Federalist Society & P.N.A.C.) The Republican Party has done precisely nothing since they got control of the House – no jobs created, no social solutions, no progress for anyone but the fascist Oligarchs. The count in the U.S. Senate is down to 51 Democrats, two independents (who caucus with the Democrats) and 47 Republicans. Still, for many votes, just one 'Blue Dog' Democrat in the Senate can stall any and all legislation – with not enough votes to prevent The Party of No from threatening to use the filibuster.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party and the A.L.E.C. conspiracy are targeting various Congressional districts, and state governorships, and many local elections, because they must get back the positional Power that gives them access to destroying America's economy, taking away Constitutional rights, and profiting from bribery, treason and war crimes.
Any U.S. citizen who does not/did not vote in the 2010 Primary and 2010 General Elections or any election in 2011 and 2012 surrenders the right to call him-/herself an American.
Lousy voter turnout of 2010 thru 2011 produced gains for the Republican Party. In the 112th Congress, the U.S. Senate stands at 51 Democrats, 2 independents, and 47 Republicans. In the House of Representatives, Republicans had a net gain of 64 seats (of 435), handing control to the G.O.P. at 242-193, with 2 vacant seats & six non-voting seats. The Republicans gained six net state governorships, giving 29 G.O.P., 20 Democrat, and 1 independent (Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island).

2016 U.S. Presidential Race
The news media are trying to frighten Republicans by assuming that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic candidate in 2015-2016 while
also frightening sentient Americans by presenting TEA Partiers Ted Cruz and Rand Paul as the Republican front-runners {OMG!} for 2015-2016.
Re-elected New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was shaping up as a contender for the 2015-2016 Presidential race, but the January 2014 revelation
of emails regarding the September 2013 'Bridge-Gate' retaliation eliminated him as presidential material.
In February 2014, Shadow Governor of New Mexico Jay McCleskey started the Susan Martinez campaign for President in 2016 by releasing her new Twitter account of #Martinez4pres. (If by some miracle she gets elected to national office such as Veep or is appointed to a Cabinet slot, she is planning to quit in the middle of her second term as NM Governor.)
