Fascism is a radical, authoritarian nationalist political ideology. Neo-fascism usually includes nationalism,
anti-immigration policies, or - where relevant - nativism, anti-communism, and opposition to the parliamentary
system and to liberal democracy.

{the 'Citizens United' Decision}; then, the 2016 'election' of Donald Trump siezed the third branch of the U.S government and Emperor Trump's fascist administration quickly caused escalation of books & news articles and journalism (and TV 'journalism') on the subject,
so this page was split off in February 2018, with a ton of updating still to be done.

The 12 points evolved into a poster graphic with 14 points, which you can view here. These points were defined by Dr. Lawrence W. Britt
in a March 2003 article in Secular Humanism's Free Inquiry Magazine [Volume 23 #2].

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines fascism as: A political philosophy, movement, or regime ... that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands
for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Choosing material for this page on the topic of Fascism requires differentiating from overlapping ideologies such as 'barbarianism' and 'Nazism' – not all barbarians are Fascists or Nazis, nor do all Fascists or Nazis act like barbarians. A barbarian thrives on raping and pillaging, on despoilment of society and the environment, with the intention of making the world more of a mess than it is already in. A barbarian is an uncivilized or uncultured person, from the Latin and Ancient Greek terms originally applied to any foreigner. As long as there has been fascism, there has been anti-fascism. After fascism's heyday during World War II, anti-fascist groups flared up on occasion in Europe and the United States,
then died down. Various factors (including social media) charged up the 'anti-fa' groups around 2010 and they took on the K.K.K. and other racists and supported the Occupy Movements,
but anti-fa activities became more and more violent, so that they were using the same strategies and tactics as the fascists. Violent anti-fa groups actually help the fascists,
given the habit of the propaganda media to report the opposite of objective truth.

 | The alarm about QAnon is not because of large numbers but because he/they are very deranged extremist conspiracy theorists who began visibly 'infiltrating' Trump political rallies in mid-2018. A person identifying as 'Q Clearance Patriot' first appeared on 4chan in late October 2017, but later moved to 8chan, citing alleged security concerns. The conspiracy beliefs held by QAnon and followers range from the Illuminati and the Rothschilds, the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, a 'deep state' of Democrats planning to overthrow Trump's lawful regime, aliens and UFOs, and accusations of various celebrities as being pedophiles. Their first major public appearance was a 'mass presence' of QAnon supporters at the 31 July 2018 Trump political rally in Tampa, Florida. Celebrity followers include actor James Woods and former comedian Roseanne Barr.
